Why does everybody act like music is JUST now becoming sexual? I am 22 years old & there was a time when I was in my car seat jamming to old school R&B & Hip Hop. I was singing abt shit I had ZERO business singing about, & didn’t realize until years later what the lyrics meant. The only difference is back then it was majorily men who sang/rap about sex, & not women. Now WOMEN are becoming more sexual & more comfortable to sing/rap abt the same things & people hit them with the “It’s a better way to get your message through guys! You don’t have to be that way it’s not lady like. Kids listen to this!” ADULTS IN THE PUBLIC EYE ARE NOT REQUIRED TO LIVE THEIR LIVES TO RAISE YOUR KIDS! My Mamma always told me what’s for adults is for adults, & what’s for children is for children. When I was their age I had no clue what those lyrics meant, & my Mamma made sure of that. As a PARENT it is your job to protect your children’s innocence, & to censor. Not a GROWN ass celebrity. There is nothing wrong with how they dress because they are adults. There is nothing wrong with those lyrics because they are adults singing about adult activities. Maybe the question you should be asking yourself is why is your 11 year old daughter is able to explicitly describe what this song is talking about in great detail??? Take responsibility for your own kids, & stop relying on the every day lives of grown celebrities to be “what they look up too”. I bet if we stalked your ass you do A LOT of shit your kids shouldn’t look up to, & have ZERO business knowing about huh???
